ARCO Worldwide Services Limited is a subsidiary of ARCO Group Plc, one of Nigeria’s most respected Oil & Gas service firms with over 45 years of operations. ARCO Worldwide was established in 2016 as Nigeria’s first licensed commercial drone operator, certified by both the NCAA and ONSA. 

Today, ARCO Worldwide is Africa’s most experienced drone operations and aerial intelligence company, with Nigeria’s largest licensed fleet, 70+ dual-certified pilots, and more than 15,000 flight hours of BVLOS operations. We serve IOCs, government agencies, and enterprises across 10+ industries.

2016
ARCO Worldwide

Founded as a subsidiary of ARCO Group Plc, Nigeria's first licensed commercial drone operator.

2017
NCAA and ONSA Approvals

Licensed by the NCAA and ONSA, Received all approvals as one of the first companies approved for commercial drone operations in Nigeria.

2018
Awards

Awarded Nigeria's first drone operations running contract with an IOC (TotalEnergies). Commenced projects with DPR and NETCO. 

2019
BVLOS Approval

Received BVLOS approval first in Nigeria. Expanded pilot roster with dual-certified professionals trained in the USA and South Africa.

2020
Contract

Facilitated Textron Systems USA contract with Nigerian Army for Aerosonde Mk4.7 drones under US FMS programme. 

2022
Contract

We were awarded major contracts with a number of IOCs and LOCs such as Shell, Chevron & Umugini Pipeline.

2023
Contract

ARCO Worldwide was awarded a contract with NLNG and successfully conducted confined space inspection services utilizing the latest cutting- edge technology.

2024
Contract

Awarded a major contract from leading security firm, Tantita Security Services, to procure and manage a number of fixed wing drones.
ARCO Worldwide conducted surveillance flights for a subsidiary of NNPC-NPSC.

2025
Partnership Signed

ARCO Worldwide signed partnership with DJI Enterprise as its first authorized DJI Enterprise reseller in Nigeria.
