ARCO Worldwide & ROAV7 Partner to Deliver Inspection Data Management in Nigeria

October 7, 2026

ARCO Worldwide Services Limited and ROAV7 have entered a strategic partnership to deliver drone data acquisition and inspection data management across Nigeria.

The announcement matters less for what it starts than for what it confirms. Both companies have already delivered together, and this partnership formalises work that has been running for two years.

Six operations before one announcement

Between 2024 and 2026, AWSL and ROAV7 executed six major joint operations.

Those projects covered critical infrastructure drone inspections and aerial topographic surveys, both onshore and offshore. Each presented different terrain, different access constraints and different client requirements.

That sequence matters. Partnerships are often announced on intent, then tested afterwards. This one was tested first, across live operations, before either party put a name to it.

Where the real bottleneck now sits

Aerial capture is no longer the hard part of asset integrity work.

Platforms fly reliably. Sensors deliver detail that manual inspection cannot match. Crews mobilise quickly, and regulatory frameworks now accommodate the work properly.

However, capture produces volume. A single inspection campaign generates point clouds, orthomosaics, thermal datasets and thousands of images. All of that then has to reach the engineers who need it, in a form they can actually use.

Consequently, many operators now hold more aerial data than they can interpret. The constraint has moved downstream, from acquisition to inspection data management.

What Perseus changes

To mark this new chapter, ROAV7’s Perseus platform is being deployed locally in Nigeria.

Perseus allows infrastructure stakeholders to access their data securely in the cloud. Teams visualise key deliverables directly, including 3D point clouds and orthomosaics, and they edit equipment inspection reports within the same environment.

In practice, that closes the loop between flight and decision. Rather than receiving files and distributing them manually, an integrity team works from one source, reviews findings in context and updates reports as assessments progress.

Local deployment is the operative detail. Nigerian operators gain direct access rather than depending on arrangements built for other markets.

What the partnership delivers

Three things define the combined offering.

Proven reliability. Six completed joint operations provide a track record rather than a projection. Both teams already know how the other plans, mobilises and reports.

Seamless data integration. Perseus brings capture and interpretation into one workflow, so intelligence arrives faster and in a usable form.

Local excellence. ROAV7 contributes global technical standards. AWSL contributes the on-the-ground execution that Nigerian conditions demand, including regulatory navigation, community engagement and access to difficult terrain.

The capability behind the data

Good data management depends on good data.

ARCO Worldwide is Nigeria’s first licensed commercial drone operator, authorised by the NCAA and approved by the Office of the National Security Adviser, operating under ISO 9001:2015 certified processes. Our inspection and survey work runs on enterprise platforms including the Matrice 350 RTK, carrying Zenmuse payloads for zoom, thermal, LiDAR and photogrammetry.

Behind that sit more than 15,000 flight hours, over 70 pilots and crew, and bases in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. As Nigeria’s only DJI Enterprise Authorized Reseller and Enterprise Solutions Partner, we match the platform to the asset rather than adapting whatever is available.

What it means for Nigerian operators

Asset owners increasingly ask a harder question than they used to. Not whether aerial inspection is possible, but what happens to the data afterwards.

This partnership answers that question directly. Capture to international technical standards, executed locally, delivered into a platform built for inspection workflows rather than general file storage.

For oil and gas, power, telecoms and infrastructure clients, that shortens the distance between a flight and a maintenance decision.

Looking ahead

We are proud of the trust built with ROAV7 across six operations, and we look forward to extending it.

Both teams now focus on the same objective: high-value, innovative drone solutions for clients across the region, supported by data infrastructure that matches the quality of the capture.
